Sploosh is busy on the streets these days, and we absolutely love the energy and amazing people we meet! A couple of weeks ago we started playing with the idea of covering CopenHell, a yearly death-metal festival in Copenhagen.
To say the least – this was entering a bit of unknown territory for us, but that is also is the definition of a good challenge.
We knew there would be hordes of photographers covering bands, concerts and head banging crowds – and basically, we’ve all seen those photos before. So we wondered what would happen if we isolated people from their surroundings for a few seconds, eliminated all the noise and focussed on the people.
We were stunned (and still are) with the beauty, richness and passion that everybody shared with us. Most of you we only connected with for a few seconds – but together we froze a very fleeing moment in time, and we’re extremely happy to share the results with you now.
Thanks for sharing!
If you like these images – you will love our other street series!
UPDATE: We’ve now posted our second series from CopenHell, check it out here: Angels & Demons #2 by Sploosh
