It’s sunday morning. We’re in a place long left and seemingly forgotten by civilisation. It’s close by – and still it’s like entering another universe, lost in time.
We’ve set ourselves a SPLOOSH! challenge:
Two photographers. One location. Each must create four images that capture the story of this place.
What will the angles and interpretations be like? We walked the same paths, but assume we will be capturing quite different stories.
Before posting this, we have not seen each others final works.
We’re in the core of an industrial adventure. 8000 of the toughest workers used to walk these stones. Building some of the largest ships in the world, until one day the world had changed. Their hands were no longer needed. They vanished and left it to the empty buildings, the cracks in the walls and the silence to tell the story of what once was.
Below is Kasper’s interpretation, to see Martins’s click here.
